Email routing headers can help administrators investigate delivery problems or suspicious messages. They may contain account names, internal server names, timestamps, and network addresses, so treat a full header as sensitive information.
Inspect headers safely
Use your email provider’s built-in “show original” or message-source feature and learn how its authentication results are presented. Do not forward private message content or full headers to a public service unless you understand what will be retained and who can access it.
Why sender tracing is limited
Modern email commonly passes through multiple relays, and visible addresses may belong to mail providers rather than the sender’s device. Headers can be incomplete or forged outside trusted relay fields. This site does not accept or trace email messages.
